The Adventure is designed to truly capture your dog at their best. With two hours to explore, photograph and get you know them (and you!) I can really bring out the best in them. The session will be relaxed, with no pressure for your dog to be constantly performing!

What’s included?

  • Up to 2 hours on-location (woodland, moorland or riverside)

    • You can suggest a favourite place or I will send you my suggestions

  • 9 professionally edited high-resolution digital images

    • You will receive a link to an online gallery of lightly edited images for you to choose favourites from within 3 days of the session

    • The final images will again be provided through an online gallery of high-resolution files within 7 days of your selection

  • One dog (others can be added through the “add-ons” option)

  • Location within an hour’s drive of Consett, County Durham (for example we could go along the Teesdale Valley or up to the north Northumberland coast)

Frequently Asked Questions

  • It doesn’t matter if your dog has to be on lead - it can be incorporated into the pictures (especially if you have a favourite!), strategically hidden and/or edited out.

    Their safety is the most important - to be off lead they must have a strong recall and desire to stay close (I can’t take pictures of a dog who isn’t there).

  • I will make a call based on the forecast and location. Rain can cause many issues; especially as some dogs don’t like to be out in it, or may squint their eyes!

    For rain or any other extreme weather we will simply re-schedule the shoot.

  • No, I will require you to come along on the session with your dog! I will be busy working the camera and it is your responsibility to keep your dog under control - but also to make sure they are happy!

  • If your dog is nervous around new people I will always respect their space. I will not need to be close to them for the pictures - I will not be leaning over them or putting them into position.

    If they are unhappy around other dogs we can make sure to pick a quiet location - one where we are unlikely to see anyone else (and I know of some options).

  • Within three days of your session you will receive the initial gallery for you to pick your favourites. Once you have done this, I will share your final pictures with you within a week.

  • Yes! If you would like a picture of you with your dog just let me know.
